Common questions

Getting started

No. Groundwork is designed for complete beginners and is the required starting point for anyone new to the reformer. You do not need any fitness background or prior Pilates experience.
Yes. Anyone new to the reformer must complete one Groundwork class before booking any other format. After that single class, Unwind is open. Three Groundwork classes are recommended (not required) before booking Flow or Express. Strength & Length is recommended after eight Flow classes. The prerequisite can be waived for clients who have completed reformer training at another certified studio — contact us to discuss.
Mat experience is helpful background but the reformer is a different piece of equipment. We still recommend starting with Groundwork to learn the setup, spring adjustments, and cues specific to our studio.
Reformer Pilates is highly adaptable. Spring resistance, footbar height, and exercise progressions can all be modified. Our instructors offer options in every class. There is no ideal body type or starting fitness level required. We welcome beginners, returning exercisers, athletes, and people who have been mostly sedentary. If you have specific physical considerations, contact the studio by phone or the contact form on our website before booking.
Reformer Pilates is practised by people across a wide age range. Unwind is particularly well-suited to those who prefer a slower pace or lower intensity. We do not have an upper age limit. If you manage a health condition, please consult your healthcare provider before starting.

Classes & Schedule

Maximum 10 clients per class. One reformer per person. We do not overbook.
Groundwork, Flow, Strength & Length, and Unwind are 55 minutes. Express is 30 minutes.
Yes. Saturday classes run from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm (five time slots). Sunday has three class slots: 8:00 am, 9:00 am, and 10:00 am. See the full schedule on the Schedule page.
Walk-ins are accepted only if a confirmed space is available at the time of arrival. Because classes are small (10 people max), they fill quickly. We strongly recommend booking in advance through the website.
Join the waitlist. If a spot opens you will be automatically booked and notified by text and email. Remove yourself from the waitlist promptly if your plans change — being auto-booked and not showing up counts as a no-show.
We focus on group classes and do not currently offer private one-on-one sessions or small group bookings.
